They are committed to developing sustainable packaging and have the highest Toitu Enviromark Diamond certification (above ISO 14001). This means that all of their plastic is recycled within New Zealand.
This is thanks to several initiatives, including the recent introduction of optical sorters at Visy recycling plants in Auckland, which make it easier for them to separate and recycle polymers #2 and #5. This will allow them to continue to grow their business while helping New Zealand to reduce its waste footprint.
Pharmapac needed a quality building large enough to accommodate a mix of office and production space to keep up with the growing demand for their product range. PFI identified a property in Argus Place, off Sunnybrae Road in Auckland, that was suitable and was available at the right price. The purchase was made, and the company moved into their new premises. They now operate entirely, looking after their customers in spacious, good-as-new premises. They are still on the North Shore but are now closer to the motorway for inward and outward freight.
Biodegradable
